Zortrax Inkspire 2 is a first class UV LCD 3D printer! The powerful resin 3D printer is purpose-built to work with high-quality resin in highly automated processes and delivers excellent results.

Optimal lighting conditions

Inkspire 2 works with a 405nm UV LED light source. Thanks to a matrix of bright LED lights and excellent light distribution, uniform UV illumination is ensured throughout the build platform offering perfect dimensional accuracy both in the center and on the edges of the build plate. An unparalleled optical precision of every single pixel is the icing on the cake.

Protective UV cover

A specially made UV coating effectively protects the resin from external UV sources. The cover also reduces the emissions of the vapors produced.

Easily removable build platform

The Inkspire 2 build platform can be easily removed and repositioned. The flexibility of the build plate allows it to be moved to an angled position, allowing the resin to drain back into the resin tank.

Calibration for immediate use

The build platform is calibrated during production, making the Inkspire 2 ready to use right out of the box. If desired, the printer can be calibrated easily with simple GUI instructions. The calibration process is performed by adjusting 3 platform screws.

Practical resin tank

The printer has a built-in resin tank that can be easily fixed and removed.

Reliable resin level control:

• Resin pump: Inkspire 2 is equipped with an automatic resin feeding system. If there is not enough material in the tank, resin can be taken directly from the bottle so that printing can be done as intended. The resin bottles can be easily attached to the pump and stored in the appropriate holder. Excess resin is automatically poured into the bottle by means of the pump.
• Resin wiper: The resin tank is equipped with a wiper. This ensures that the resin does not stick during longer prints.
• Resin level sensor: The sensor is located in the resin tank. It continuously measures how much resin is left in the tank. The filling level of the resin can always be kept the same thanks to the sensor, which prevents the solidification of photopolymers.
• Resin bottle sensor: The sensor measures the amount of resin left in the bottle, which is placed in the appropriate holder. If both sensors are taken into account, it is possible to calculate whether there is enough resin available to complete the printing.

If Inkspire 2 detects that there is insufficient resin to complete printing, a warning will appear on the screen. If the resin runs out during printing, printing will stop automatically.

Safety first

Inkspire 2 is equipped with a Blackout Response System. This stops printing in the event of a power outage. Once power is restored, printing will resume where it left off. Thanks to the carbon and Hepa filters integrated in the printing chamber, exposure to resin vapors is practically nil.
