was developed for professional use and can only be used with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and TPC (thermoplastic copolyester) filaments.

Description

Magigoo Pro Flex Adhesive 50 ml is designed for professional use to work exclusively with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and TPC (thermoplastic copolyester) filaments. The printed parts should be easily removed once cooled, and the remaining adhesive should be easily cleaned up.

TPUs, TPEs/TPCs describe a group of polymers often called “thermoplastic rubbers.” Thermoplastic rubbers occur as copolymers or polymer blends, usually of plastic and rubber. This allows for both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. As a result, these materials have the advantage of stretching moderately and returning to their original shape.

In addition, these materials have excellent thermal properties, stability, chemical resistance, and are cheaper to produce. As a result, they are highly sought after in industrial applications.
Some flexible filaments show less adhesion to conventional 3D printing surfaces and a high tendency to shrinkage. Others tend to stick too much to 3D printing surfaces such as glass and PEI.

Magigoo Pro Flex Adhesive 50 ml is a specialized solution for FDM printing of flexible filaments that has been developed to work with a large number of flexible filament types. Magigoo Pro Flex acts as an intermediate layer between the print bed and the printed part allowing for good adhesion and facilitating removal of the print if necessary.

Magigoo Pro Flex Adhesive 50 ml is designed and tested to work with flexible filaments of various brands.

  • Shake the bottle
  • Apply to the desired area by pressing the tip onto the plane (activating the internal valve) and spreading as needed.
  • Print according to the specifications of the filament or printer
  • Allow to cool and remove. The press should immediately come off.
  • Wipe – Use a damp cloth to clean.


Using this product with non-flexible filaments could cause excessive adhesion and damage the printing surface.

For larger prints, and filaments with a high shrinkage rate, a brim of 20 mm is recommended.
In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the printing surface with a small amount of water, trying to run it slowly under the part. This should make it easier to remove.
