Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer is compatible with many advanced engineering resins, including those previously available only for DLP 3D printers. Zortrax works with brands such as Henkel/Loctite and BASF Forward AM to ensure that the properties of parts molded with their best-performing resins match or exceed the values specified by the manufacturer. This compliance is ensured by a thorough two-step validation process, in which 3D printed models were first tested internally by Zortrax and then independently by resin manufacturers who made test prints on pre-production Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer units sent to their labs. The test samples were post-processed using Zortrax Cleaning Station and Zortrax Curing Station, which means the validation extends to the entire Zortrax resin 3D printing ecosystem.


Optimal lighting conditions

Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D printer works with a 405 nm UV LED light source. With an array of bright LED lights and excellent light distribution, uniform UV illumination is ensured across the entire build platform offering perfect dimensional accuracy both in the center and on the edges of the build plate. Unparalleled optical accuracy of every single pixel is the icing on the cake.

UV protective coverage

A specially made UV cover effectively protects the resin from external UV sources. The cover also reduces emissions of produced vapors.

Easily removable construction platform

The build platform of Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer can be easily removed and repositioned. The flexibility of the build plate allows it to be moved to an angled position, allowing the resin to flow back into the resin reservoir.

Calibration for immediate use

The build platform is calibrated at the production stage, making Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer immediately ready for use. If desired, the printer can be easily calibrated with simple GUI instructions. The calibration process is performed by adjusting 3 platform screws.

Handy reservoir for resin

The printer has a built-in resin tank that can be easily attached and removed.

Reliable control of resin level:

  • Resin pump:Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D printer is equipped with an automatic resin feeding system. If there is not enough material in the tank, resin can be taken directly from the bottle so that the printing can be done as planned. Resin bottles can be easily attached to the pump and stored in the holder. Excess resin is automatically poured back into the bottle through the pump.
  • Resin wiper: the resin tank is equipped with a wiper. This ensures that the resin will not stick during longer prints.
  • Resin level sensor: the sensor is located in the resin tank. Continuously measure how much resin is left in the tank. The resin fill level can be kept the same at all times thanks to the sensor, which prevents photopolymers from solidifying.
  • Resin bottle sensor: the sensor measures the amount of resin left in the bottle, which is placed in the resin bottle holder. If both sensors are taken into account, it is possible to calculate whether there is enough resin available to complete the print.

► If Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer detects that there is insufficient resin to complete the print, a warning will appear on the screen. If the resin runs out during printing, printing will be stopped automatically.

Safety First

Zortrax Inkspire 2 DLP 3D Printer is equipped with a Blackout Response System. This interrupts printing in the event of a power failure. Once power is restored, printing will resume where it left off. With charcoal and Hepa filters built into the printing chamber, exposure to resin vapors is virtually zero.
