BASF Ultrafuse 17-4 PH
Stainless Steel Filament for Applications Requiring High Hardness and Mechanical Strength
Ultrafuse 17-4 PH is a filament for the production of 17-4 stainless steel metal components on standard Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printers.
Ultrafuse 17-4 PH is an innovative filament designed to print parts made of 17-4 stainless steel, a material that can be fully heat treated to achieve high levels of strength and hardness. It is ideal for applications in the petrochemical, aerospace and automotive industries. Parts printed with Ultrafuse 17-4 PH achieve their final properties through a process of catalytic debinding and sintering, a technology developed by BASF and used in traditional metal injection molding.
