Magigoo Pro Flex Adhesive 50 ml: User Guide and Warnings
Magigoo Pro Flex Adhesive 50 ml is designed for professional use with flexible filaments such as TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and TPC (thermoplastic copolyester). These polymers, known as “thermoplastic rubbers”, combine thermoplastic and elastomeric properties, allowing elongation and return to the original shape. They are sought after for their thermal stability, chemical resistance, and manufacturing convenience, but they can present adhesion and shrinkage difficulties during 3D printing.
Magigoo Pro Flex offers a specialized solution, improving adhesion during FDM printing and making it easier to remove printed parts. It has been tested on various brands of flexible filaments, ensuring optimal results.
Instructions for use
- Preparation:
- Shake the bottle vigorously to stir the contents well.
- Application:
- Apply the adhesive to the desired area of the print bed by pressing the tip to activate the internal valve.
- Spread the adhesive evenly over the selected area.
- Printing:
- Print according to the specifications of the filament or printer.
- Removing the printout:
- Allow the print to cool down. The part should come off easily after cooling.
- If you have difficulty removing it, use a scraper or lightly wet the print bed with water to facilitate removal.
- Cleaning:
- Use a damp cloth to wipe the glue residue from the print bed.
Note
- For larger prints and filaments with a high shrinkage rate, a 20 mm wide brim (edge) is recommended.
- If there is too much stick, lightly moisten the print bed with water, trying to slide it slowly under the printed part to make it easier to remove.
Safety Warnings
- Using this product with inflexible filaments may cause excessive adhesion and damage the print surface.
