3DCut PEEK Luvocom Filament 3D3DCut PEEK Luvocom Filament 3D (Polyether Ether Ketone) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic, which is one of the most widely used high-performance plastics in the world. It is used to produce parts for the aerospace, gas, petroleum, medical, and automotive industries.
3DCut PEEK Luvocom 3D Filament is often used to replace various polymer and metal components in automobiles and aircraft. Due to its very high resistance to heat and chemicals, PEEK can be used in a variety of ways. It can maintain its properties at high service temperatures for a long time. PEEK is also used in the medical field, as it is perfect for making custom prosthetic parts such as arms, hands, and cranial implants.
For a long time, PEEK Luvocom 3D filament was one of the most difficult materials to print, but after much research, an additive was introduced – Luvocom 9581. This new additive has changed the way PEEK can be used and has been designed to work better with FDM printers.
3DCut PEEK Luvocom never comes into contact with water during the production process and is packaged directly in vacuum bags. This process, in combination with the additive, creates a PEEK filament with excellent layer adhesion, which of course greatly improves impact resistance, durability, strength, and also makes the printing process much easier than regular PEEK.
To make a successful PEEK print there are a few things to keep in mind: the printer must possess the necessary characteristics to print PEEK filament and the object must be printed with a nozzle temperature of 360-400° C. The heatbed must also be set to 120° C and it is important to have a heated chamber. It is also very important to make sure that the printer is placed in a room where it is free of drafts and temperature fluctuations. PEEK is best printed on a PEI sheet at a printing speed of 15-30mm/s.
PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic material that is commonly used as a filament for 3D printing. It is known for its high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent mechanical properties. PEEK is often used in industrial and aerospace applications, where high strength and temperature resistance are required. PEEK is also biocompatible, making it suitable for use in the medical and dental industries. However, PEEK is also a difficult material to print and requires a high-end, high-end 3D printer with advanced extruder and plate heating capabilities. In addition, PEEK is also one of the most expensive filaments available.
On request we could provide the medically certified PEEK for prostheses. We invite you to contact us for information!
