Bambu Lab H2D — Dual Extruder 3D Printer
The Bambu Lab H2D is a new generation FDM 3D printer designed for those who want to go beyond single-material printing. The dual extruder system with fast switching allows you to work in multi-material and multi-color, reducing waste and setup times compared to traditional solutions.
The heart of the machine is the high-flow hotend, capable of supporting printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s without drop in flow rate even on large or complex pieces. The hardened steel nozzles withstand temperatures up to 350°C, opening the door to technical materials such as ABS, ASA, PC, PA and filaments filled with carbon fiber or glass — also thanks to the printing chamber heated up to 65°C, which guarantees dimensional stability on the most delicate materials.
Not just printing: integrated laser cutting and engraving
It’s not just a printer: the H2D integrates laser engraving and cutting functions, transforming itself into a multifunctional platform for prototyping, customization and production of small batches. The BirdsEye camera vision system (alignment accuracy up to 0.3 mm) allows you to position the machining path exactly where it is needed on the material, even for recovery.
Automated quality control
Quality control is automated: the AI camera with macro lens on the nozzle monitors the extrusion in real time, detecting material accumulations, filament deviations and clogs before they become waste. The proprietary PMSM servo architecture, with 20 kHz sampling, stabilizes the extrusion flow and compensates for micro-vibrations that normally result in surface defects.
Expandable with AMS
The H2D in its basic configuration works with a single spool of filament, but is fully compatible with the AMS as a follow-up accessory: you can switch to automatic multi-color and multi-material printing when you need it, without having to change machines — an ideal option for those who want to start with a smaller investment.
