The Formlabs Form 4B is the biocompatible 3D printer designed specifically for medical and healthcare environments, capable of producing parts extremely quickly from the most diverse library of materials for healthcare applications on the market. Thanks to Low Force Display™ (LFD) technology, it prints up to 4x faster than the previous generation, with a 30% higher build volume — without ever compromising dimensional accuracy or surface finish.
Unlike traditional laser systems, the LFD engine cures each layer of resin quickly and evenly across the entire platform, regardless of the size or number of workpieces. This means that printing multiple models at once does not extend production time — a real advantage for those who manage high clinical or production volumes.
Precision where it really matters
With a 50-micron LED pixel, the Form 4B ensures that 99% of the surface area of each part falls within ±100 μm of the original CAD model. This level of accuracy ensures that devices and models fit precisely — a critical requirement when the quality of the final part has a direct impact on patient care.
