POM Derlin 3D Filament
POM polyoxymethylene, also known as Delrin, allows the 3D printing of objects that possess great values of mechanical strength, toughness, hardness, rigidity, dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, thermal stability and good electrical and dielectric behavior. It has very good sliding properties and low static and dynamic friction value.
Threadable, drillable, millable, easily welded by simply heating the surfaces to be joined. Filament chemically resistant to many aggressive products but not to strong acids such as sulfuric acid and oxidizing agents. Good UV resistance.
Used in most industrial sectors, mechanics, textiles, automotive (carburettor parts intended for contact with naphtha or petrol), precision mechanics, electronics and electrical engineering. Automotive, aeromotives, marine
Non-toxic
High dimensional stability Excellent
machinability (turning – milling)
Excellent mechanical
properties Limited resistance to chemical agents
Specifically, POM-C is a semi-crystalline POM-copolymer filament with good physical properties. Low moisture absorption, good fatigue resistance and high rigidity. Easy to machine, it has remarkable stability and produces objects with very stable shapes at tight tolerances.
Highly resistant to friction, it allows you to print objects with very high precision and high mechanical resistance. It has the advantage of obtaining a result even closer to plastic injection, therefore prototypes for functional, mechanical and aesthetic validations. Reserved for experienced 3D printing users.
